These seats offer rearward facing travel up to 18kg or 105cm. This is the average weight of a child at 4 years old when they are following average height and weight percentiles. Some can be used from birth and some can be used from around 6 months.

These seats are mostly isofix fitting and some of them have the option to turn to the side to put the child in from the door easier. However, these seats aren't ideal for those children who are bigger or taller than average and they offer little to no adjustment for legroom as the child grows. The best seat for bigger children would be a 23kg+ seat.
